Welcome to Middle England Care Farm, where adventure meets education in the great outdoors! Our 64 acre farm is a vibrant hub for children with additional needs and those who thrive outside the traditional classroom setting. Our alternative provision offers bespoke and engaging outdoor learning experiences that ignite curiosity and foster a love for exploration.
Step into a world where young people can connect with nature, discover new skills and grow both personally and socially. We believe that learning should be as exciting as it is educational, and our carefully crafted programs encourage children to step outside, get their hands dirty and experience the wonders of the natural world first hand. Perfect for out of school students or those who need a circuit break from the classroom each week.
At Middle England Care Farm, we take pride in nurturing a love of learning whilst instilling an appreciation for the outdoors. Through animal care, our young adventurers can develop empathy and responsibility as they bond with our wide range of farm animals. In our horticulture sessions, they’ll plant seeds of knowledge while watching their efforts bloom into gardens full of vibrant life.
Our unique forest school-style activities inspire creativity and confidence, empowering children to navigate the landscapes around them. Whether it’s building dens, exploring the woods and lakes, or engaging in team challenges, every experience is designed to promote collaboration and self-discovery. The perfect alternative provision for out of school students and young people with SEN.
With compassionate support and encouragement, our goal is to inspire every child to reach their full potential. Join us at Middle England Care Farm for an exciting journey that combines fun, learning and the beauty of the natural world. Together, we’ll cultivate skills, memories, friendships and a lasting love for the great outdoors!
We offer three group care farm sessions a week where students can spend time at the farm, learning and growing with a group of their peers. For those young people who don't thrive in group settings, we also offer private 1:1 sessions, parent or carer accompanied, which are perfect for out of school students.
We run our care farm group sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The day starts at 10am and ends at 2pm. Our alternative provision groups are small and have a high staff/student ratio to ensure every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
Our one to one sessions are ideal for children who prefer not to be in a group and wish to enjoy all the care farm has to offer with a parent or carer accompanying. They are generally an hour long and take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
